About Me

Hi, I’m Esther! I earned my PhD in Political Science from Lund University in April 2025. Before moving to Lund, I taught at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in the Department of Social Sciences from 2014 to 2020. My main research interests include computational text analysis, legislative behavior and speech-making, and party competition.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Malmö’s food scene, hunting for my next favorite book, or going for a run.

Currently, I work as a Master Data Specialist at Alfa Laval, bringing my experience in data quality and management to industry applications.
