About Me

Hi, I’m Esther! I earned my PhD in Political Science from Lund University in April 2025. Before moving to Lund, I taught at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in the Department of Social Sciences from 2014 to 2020. My main research interests include computational text analysis, legislative behavior and speech-making, and party competition.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Malmö’s food scene, hunting for my next favorite book, or going for a run.

Currently, I am on the job market, seeking roles in either academia or industry that involve data management, computational text analysis, and statistical modeling. Feel free to reach out if you know of any opportunities where my skills might be a good fit.
